Remember my post about Soxxy? Well, they sent me one of their SoxxyAir designs, based on the constellation Orion. $8 from each sale goes to the Michael Stabile Memorial Scholarship Fund at Trinity Pawling School, which "provides financial assistance to students in the School's Language Program. This specialized program works to alleviate dyslexia and learning disabilities; providing students with the opportunity to realize a full range of academic potential." That reminds me, although only tangentially, of Cloud Peak Project, which you should totally like on Facebook! While you're at it, Soxxy has a page too.
So, the actual sock-wearing experience: Awesome! It's ridiculous, but I'm slightly miffed that I like these socks so much, because they're the first item a brand has sent me to sample/review, and I don't want y'all to conclude that I'm biased because I got them for free. Anyway, the physical sensation of putting these on made me instantly start thinking of them as "squeezy socks", and what I like most is that they don't fall down, or even slip! Most knee-high socks have to be constantly adjusted throughout the day, but not squeezy socks.
