Graduation
Tabitha Bianca Brown's illustration shop The Pairabirds carries a variety of interesting works, including abstract designs, stormy cartoons, and naturalistic minimalism. I am especially drawn to her series of "Yearbook" portraits, my favorites of which constitute the bulk of this post. Enjoy!

I wish I looked this chic and stylish in my Yearbook photos. #gawkyawkwardteenlife
ReplyDeleteSAME. But I wasn't gawky, more lumpy.
DeleteI would be interested in seeing her workflow in Photoshop or whatever she used. And I'd love to commission a portrait from her. I can't imagine you with braces--maybe you'll post transformation pictures at some point?
ReplyDeleteI love Nancy's hair! These pictures are awesome :-)
ReplyDeleteFortunately (?) for me, we don't really have yearbooks in these parts. I was editor of the 7th form Magazine, though, and we decided to let everyone submit the photo they wanted to (or none at all). Most people (me included) submitted hilarious pics from when they were toddlers!
Aw, baby rogue! I imagine that you had a dagger dashingly stuck in your diaper.
DeleteI want to see this!
DeleteThese are amazing! And also make me regret my yearbook photos from highschool. I almost always forgot it was photo day and look horribly disheveled in all of them.

Mine are pretty similar, haha. I don't think anyone looked good in high school.
