Give Us Some Figgy Pudding

OOTD 12/15/2013

This shirt is much more minty in person, which is why it felt appropriate for a Christmas movie marathon. Or rather, a Merry-thon, as my dad cleverly dubbed it. Here's the lineup: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (original animated version), ELF (blonde Zooey Deschanel steals my heart every time), The Preacher's Wife (Whitney Houston sings carols as the titular character, and Denzel Washington is a handsome angel), White Christmas (featuring Rosemary Clooney in a swoon-worthy dress), and The Snowman (no parenthetical comment for that one). All four movies in one day! Yeah, we go hard.

See the red thingy on my pocket? That's the Snoopy pin.

I know I wore this skirt a couple days ago, but it's so comfy and perfect that I couldn't resist wearing it again. That's probably some kind of style blogger faux pas, but OH WELL.

    1. That's a relief to hear because I always worry that my socks are terribly dowdy and unfashionable! Haha. I hope you enjoy the Christmas movies too, since your husband watches a bunch of them!

    1. I've never heard of that movie! I'll have to find it and watch it, because I love Christmas movies (as you can probably tell, haha). And thank you! The Snoopy pin was in a big box of giveaway stuff--I was so glad I found it.

  5. I absolutely love mint during all four seasons. And I have such a soft spot in my heart for The Snowman. Such a magical movie and it reminds me of my childhood. I actually used to think it was just some crazy ass story I made up in my head since the illustrations were so dream-like. I didn't realize it was actually a movie I watched until I was much older. Crazy Jen, ha. :P

    1. Yes! That's on my list! And I ALWAYS wear stuff serially like that. Blogging has broken me of the habit somewhat--except for with pajamas and sweats.
