Casually Blue

white t-shirt, vintage pleated periwinkle skirt

Today was pretty great, because I didn't have to do anything in particular. Well, there is stuff on my to-do list, but I have a couple more days to procrastinate. God forbid that I complete a task before the last possible moment!

Anyway, wearing a plain white shirt is delightful. It doesn't go with everything (for instance layered under some dresses) but it's remarkably neutral, and therefore quite versatile. The only problem is that wearing white makes me nervous. I'm always flicking salad dressing onto myself.

  1. Hooray for procrastination! I have the same problem basically all the time.

Also I really enjoy your t-shirt and skirt combination. That's one of my favorite ways to wear skirts. Comfy and cute!

    1. Thank you! Of course, now it has an apricot juice stain on it. This is the beginning of the end...

  3. Haha, if I wear white, *guaranteed* I will spill something on it. I know that paranoia well!

    Love the necklace!

  4. i also love this simple combo w/ the white shirt and pretty skirt. I dont think i own a plain white T now that I thinka bout it but I also dont wear many t's in general, i tend to find they make me look a bit too busty... or did years ago and never got around to getting any lately.

    1. Isn't it funny how we all dislike our own bodies? I bet you'd look great!

    2. Thanks Sonya! I just remembered you reply to comments on here & went & checked back at the recent posts I commented on. & no worries, here I actually love my body. Now. After many years of not. But, I do tend to be on the careful side w/ tops as I can easily look out of proportion on top and unfortunately this male part of the culture still things staring is ok.
