Hot Pink Head

pink headscarf, cream lace sundress with black and silver accessories

I don't like wearing headscarves 'cause they make my head look weird. It gets too smushed, if that makes sense. I do like wearing headscarves because they keep my hair out of my face. If I thought that I could pull off being bald, then I would totally shave my head. Unfortunately I'm not gutsy enough... at least not yet! [Insert ominous theme music here.]

If you're curious about my necklace, there's a closeup in "Philosopho-psych".

I loved this girly lace dress the minute I laid eyes on it, and it has been a delightful item to have in my closet. However, our time together has ended. I still enjoy daintiness and ultra-feminine styles, but my aesthetic has become a bit more serious over the past year. These days I prefer linen to lace. (Admittedly, I bought a lace top at Armour sans Anguish. You know what I mean, though, right?)

  1. Ack! Your photos have improved immensely, my lady, I must say. :D These are an awesome set of 'em. I seriously love your headscarf and that dresssss! You mash together the most wonderful things.

I think you pull off the headscarf just fine, but I know what you mean--having hair makes me feel so un-naked, haha. It's like a weird source of confidence for me. When I wear it down I feel much better than when I wear it up. How strange!

  2. I love that dress too! But I know what you mean, as much as I love pretty girly lacey things, I often feel TOO girly in them. I think you can definitely pull off the headscarf!
