Stripes & Stuff

I love Leah Wise's ethical fashion blog, Style Wise. She also has a curated vintage shop called Platinum & Rust, a name that has always appealed to me. It sounds like a dystopian wedding theme. Anyway, every so often I look through P&R and this time the findings were particularly cool.

Tim Burton's Beetlejuice

I snagged the picture above from an Indiewire article called "5 Things You Might Not Know About Tim Burton's 'Beetlejuice'". Usually I wouldn't bother mentioning that because it's just a screenshot from the movie, but this "5 Things" piece is shockingly interesting, like maybe the writer did actual research?! Good things happen when you pay for content, people. (Fuck you, Huffington Post. But I digress...)

    Loved that Beetlejuice article. I remember watching the TV show when I was little. Never realized it was creepy or weird at all. I miss all those scary/weird/slightly-off kids' shows of the 90s. Beetlejuice the movie is always great too.

    Those two middle blouses are crazy-eighties, so maybe that's what attracts you? I mean will you look at those shoulder-ma-pads? You could don a helmet and play football in that blouse.

      Bahaha, I'll take the blouses without the PE! I like 80s shirts but I do always cut out the shoulder pads.

    I'm loving that blue dress :-) The Beetlejuice jacket is awesome though - that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture!
