White polo shirts are part of my sister's uniform, but the daisy headband and purple lipstick are her own embellishments! I really like them in combination, because the daisies look fresh and innocent, but the lipstick is vampy. Incongruity = satisfying.
The lipstick is MAC "Heroine", a name that until now I had only ever heard, as opposed to read, so I assumed that it referred to the drug, which seemed exploitative to me. But YAY, instead we're talkin' 'bout lady knights and Marie Curie! Speaking of lipstick, today I tried on my friend's Revlon "Super Lustrous" creme lipstick in "Toast of New York" (whew, that's a mouthful) which I loved.
Okay, possibly I had too much fun with that. But a selfie taken to show off a lipstick called "Toast of New York" requires a psychedelically processed cityscape background, right? Anyway, the color leans more toward chocolate in person (although not to the extent of MAC "Film Noir"). Swatches on IMBB illustrate the shade pretty well. I might pick up some of these "Super Lustrous" cremes (and by "might" I mean "probably won't because I hate spending money", but still) because they're soft and easy to wear. I already have "Siren", which is an awesome bright orange.
ERMAHGERD LIPSTICK!!! Seriously though, it's my favorite kind of makeup.
