Greenery

sky blue cardigan, brown patterned sarong skirt

I decided to pose with one of the baby trees on the lawn. I love this little maple. In fact, I've posted about it before. Anyway, you may remember that I said my scarf dress is reversible and can be worn as a skirt. Here's the proof! I knotted it in the back because I didn't like the way the fringe was hanging. I think it'll end up being trimmed after all.

My cardigan isn't inside out. It just has weird seams.

  1. Pretty, pretty girl. There's something about this scene that evokes a sprite or woodland fey. Earthtones sing on you.

I think I like this better as a skirt than a dress. The fact that the garment is multifunctional though is delightful.

    1. Thank you, Karen! *beams* I think I like it better as a skirt too. The shape is more flattering.

  2. HOW is it already so green where you are?! Mad jelly.

I like it better as a skirt too. It has a cool belly-dancer vibe.

  4. SO PRETTY. :-O

There is something about the combination of chocolate brown and seafoam/turquoise that is just legendary.

    1. Thank you! I wouldn't have planted them myself because I'm lazy, but I'm glad they're there :)

  6. Whoa, look AT ALL OF THAT GRASS AND SUNSHINE! (whoops, I guess caps lock decided I needed to show how dramatic I really felt about all of that green grass. It's snowing right now so I might be a little bitter.) The little tree is really adorable, we've planted trees at all of the houses we've lived at and it's always amazing to go back and see how they've grown. I always wanted to say how sweet your comment about your dad designing your house was, that is just such a sweet and precious thing and I think that must make your dad feel amazing that you appreciate that so much.
