Pretty Postal

Lostvestige's $15 resin necklaces are built around vintage stamps and other ephemera. I'm not a philatelist (such a great word), but I love snail mail, and an around-the-neck reminder would be sweet. I spend a lot of time on the internet, and while I'm very grateful for the convenient connection, it's also good to take a break and a breath.

  1. I've made a few of these! Although I didn't make them from resin. I had glass stone tiles and sealant. I particularly enjoyed propaganda stamps from former communist countries. That style of artwork appeals to me and there's something evocative about a country that no longer 'exists.' (well, obviously it still exists, but you know)

    1. Oooh, cool idea! I might feel a bit weird about actually wearing that, though--wouldn't want to offend anyone.

  4. That mushroom one is absolutely amazing!!! (I collect mushrooms in the warmer months) These remind me of one of my favourite etsy sellers a bit. JumpGlass: https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/JumpGlass

    2. That shop is cool! I think it's a carnival/fairground ride, but it does have a mushroom-y shape.
