Handmade Heaven

handmade Victorian-style bunny/lady cameo pillow by Dagny Stangl

The bunny-lady pillow was part of my Valentine's exchange gift from Dagny Stangl (who isn't blogging at the moment but has lovely archives). It is perfect. I forgot to take a picture of the back panel, which is grass-green cashmere. So cozy! I'm not actually using this on my bed, because I don't want to get it dirty with my hair/face/etc. It's too beautiful for that! I haven't figured out a permanent display location yet, but I want to be able to see it all the time. For now it's propped on a stool, which accomplishes visibility but isn't the most practical. Anyway, look how pretty:

Also, Sanae Ishida posted photos of what I made for her:

Postscript: I know the title is cheesy, but I truly love both making and receiving crafts.

  3. That pillow is too darling for words and so it your bedding to go along with it. I love the neck warmer you made...so sweet! Wish I knew how to knit/crochet....seems like such a relaxing hobby.

    1. I only know the basics, but it's very fun! And not hard, should you decide to learn!

  4. Crafts are awesome! :-D I love cross-stitich particularly (from the fabric-based crafts), but obviously all things miniature (especially if fantasy gaming related :-P)
