Sunset Shimmer
I like lipstick prints under any circumstances--I just think they're pretty--but I was especially pleased with the result of blotting ombre lipstick. I had to go get the camera.
This is what it looked like on my face:
Kindly excuse my unfortunate skin. Also, please note that I put this in my "inspiration" category in the sense that I am inspired by lipstick experimentation, NOT that I want you to be inspired by my recent discovery of makeup. Just so we're all clear on that front.

This lipstick is pretty!
ReplyDeleteAs for your skin, what is your skincare routine? What are you using? I had really bad skin when I was younger (and it's still not the BEST -- sup photoshop?) but I could point you in the direction of some products that have done wonders for me.
I've been trying out the oil cleansing method to see if I'd get the OMG BEST EVER results that people talk about, but so far it's just been like a regular non-drying cleanser. I would definitely appreciate tips!
DeleteI'm not sure what kind of money you want to spend, but I am obsessed with all products in the "Primal Life Organics" line. It's a paleo skincare line, handmade (and local to me!). It's all edible / no chemicals. My skin goes from "zitty" to crystal clear in about an hour. Overnight? My skin is completely transformed. I have the entire line of it -- I think it's like a six step system. But if you want to pick products. This one is perfect for a spot clearing (magical!) -- http://www.primallifeorganics.com/collections/facial-products/products/banished-primal-blemish-serum-0-5-oz or http://www.primallifeorganics.com/collections/facial-products/products/banished-primal-face-wash.
DeleteI've used this entire line and it's truly stunning and ridiculously cleansing. I have a discount code if you are interested in purchasing anything. It's "LOVE PLO" and it's 15% off. It ends tomorrow though.
Anyways, if you don't have the cash to drop on this product...I suggest the Clarisonic Mia. It's $119, but a total life changer as well.
Hope this helps!
Oh, pretty pretties! The ombre effect is lovely on you, darling!
ReplyDeleteI love lipstick too. I'm not big on makeup, but I LOVE lipstick!
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel too. I wear other makeup sometimes, but lipstick is the kind that I actually have a lot of fun with!
DeleteLove the ombre lips!! They look really lovely on you ^_^
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to give something like that a go, but I never seem to get around to it. Mostly because what I really want to do is ombre navy/teal lips, and I don't own any navy or teal lipsticks...
...yet!
OMG, that would look so cool! You could give it a try with eyeliner pencil, although I guess that wouldn't be super wearable.
DeleteOooh I hadn't thought of that before! Ombre lips! Looks gorgeous on you, girl!
