Although I may have previously worn this dress with dark layers underneath, I don't remember doing it. The cream lace usually makes me want to reach for ALL THE PASTELS, but contrast might be even nicer. Might. I'm fond of being inundated with soft colors, which is why Cupcake's Clothes and Scathingly Brilliant are both on my reading list.
Today was a depressed day. My mom told me to dress up--femme self care 'n' all. I guess it helped a little, bad lipstick choice aside. I left the family enclave for the first time in a while to take my sister to Sephora. We're both "girly girls", but she is much more "high maintenance" than me. I don't shave my legs, let alone get my eyebrows waxed! It's impressive that she puts so much time/effort/money into being polished.
I honestly wish I could be a little less polished sometimes, but I guess however you decide to do things is just in your genes! To each their own. I do like a pedicure every now and then though ahaha :D

Yup, to each their own! I would like to be more polished and "high femme", but I don't have the energy to pull it off, I guess. Pedicures (and manicures too) are so lovely. I do very much like being pampered! And thank you!
