What you can't tell from these pictures is that my dog was in the car fifteen feet away, barking madly at the top of his lungs. He knew that I was about to take him for a walk, and he did NOT approve of outfit photos coming first. Five minutes later, his brain flooded with excitement because the walk actually began, and I think he forgave me. Maybe he just forgot that I wronged him so very terribly in the first place. Marcus is not a very smart dog.
I bought this striped minidress at Forever 21 when I was a sophomore in high school, right before embarking on a trip to Europe. Wearing it brings me back to Paris and Prague... It's amazing how something as simple as a shirt can evoke memories from years ago.
I knitted this scarf last winter. Today was one of those happy occasions when I put something on and said to myself, "This isn't as ugly as I thought!" The bow probably helped.

ReplyDeleteSome of my clothes bring me back to certain times in my life too. I have a heart print shirt that's all faded now but when I wear it it reminds me of high school. Good times. This striped dress is really cute. I love how you were able to layer it for cooler weather.
