Last night I reactivated my OkCupid account. Yeah, I'm an online dater. I haven't had much success with it--in my experience, falling into a relationship via serendipity is usually a better bet--but I just broke up with my so-called boyfriend and I suppose I wanted some attention. (Not getting enough attention was part of the reason we broke up. I'm pretty needy, and he worked all the dang time.) OkCupid is not amazing when it comes to finding dateable people, but it is A+ at getting you attention. If you're a girl, anyway. However, I do have a tentative date set up for Thursday--dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant in downtown San Francisco. It'll be fun to dress up to do a somewhat grown-up thing. I will probably still wear socks and Mary Janes, like I did today, so "somewhat grown-up" might even be an exaggeration. I've also been exchanging messages with a fellow who likes cartoons as much as I do--or so it sounds--so it's not like being a kid at heart is holding me back.
Always wearing socks is one of my unfashionable habits. They're just so comfortable!
So many of my favourite prints and they look even more perfect together. I love everything about this outfit. It's beautiful.
