Invested
Another windy day! It was a good one, too. I think what made today especially nice was chatting on Skype with my friend Ben for a couple of hours. Personally, I find internet friendships more rewarding than "real" ones (because I'm dysfunctional like that). Still, I would like to meet my web friends in the flesh someday! I've already gone out for coffee with a few people who I met online but who happened to live in my area, and it's always been lovely. Talking to strangers online has worked out really well for me. Platonically speaking, that is. Internet dating has been more hit or miss.
Clothes: I've had this vest for aaages but I almost never wear it. Actually, today might be the first time it's left the bedroom. I guess bright red silk and cream lace just felt like the right combination! With a dash of pink, because I love pink and every outfit could use a little. ("C'mon, Sonya, that's pretty extreme," you say wisely. I retort, "NO. Pink always!")

Oh my gosh, INTERNET FRIENDSHIPS REALLY ARE MORE REWARDING! That, and there's never the worry of having to physically ~hang out~ with people. I dunno, I'm pretty much an introvert and like to come home to an empty home and work on little art projects and drink tea and go to sleep early... and not leave my house unless I need food. :) I'm a sad little person.
ReplyDeleteI love so many things about your outfit--the red, the lace, your precious, tiny necklaces, and of course that bow! *___*
