My mom planted some gigantic purplish sunflowers. Well, they probably didn't start out gigantic. But they've definitely gotten that way. It's like traipsing around in Wonderland.
Today's outfit consisted of a thrifted t-shirt and yoga pants, which suited my itinerary of pet-related activities. I drove my dog to the vet--he snorted a foxtail into his nose and it was making him really uncomfortable. The vet examined a few other things, with the upshot that my poor little dog had to get shaved. Now he looks appalling. Then I went and fed the cat that I've been watching while her owners are on vacation, and took Button the neighbor's dog for a brisk walk.
Unfortunately, what I didn't consider beforehand is just how well animal hair shows up on black clothes. But I managed to brush most of it away prior to photo-taking. Luckily, having tea with the Queen wasn't on the agenda. My mom always used to scold me that I should cultivate good manners in case the Queen of England ever asked me to tea. I'm still waiting!
This shirt originally came from American Apparel, a company that I may be willing to buy from in the future, if they continue making positive changes like firing their scummy CEO. I'm not sure exactly what "Dirty Sweet" is supposed to mean, but it's vague enough that I don't feel dirty wearing it... or sweet, for that matter.
If you've got a hankering for more pictures of sunflowers, I posted several on Tumblr! Also check out Leah Wise wearing a sunflower dress that I obviously want to steal.
