Green Flower Fields

summery green-and-white floral v-neck dress

You can't tell from my serene expression, but I'm having a Joan Jett kinda day.

This dress used to be a button-down, but I stitched up the front so that it could slip on instead. I like hand-sewing because I know the knots will stay solid.

  1. That's a fabulous alteration. You should be proud of your handiwork. I really love my sewing machine, but there's something uniquely satisfying about handsewing.

    1. Thank you! Yeah, I like my sewing machine too--it's much more efficient in some cases.

  2. I love the dress! I always preferred hand sewing for some reason. It seemed to be too much of an ordeal to get the sewing machine set it!
