I really like this photo. The shadows, the pose, my expression... I can't quite articulate how they all come together to please me, and yet they do. I also really like this cardigan, which was a gift from my Aunt Nancy; I like it more than I originally expected to. I'm a fan of cardigans in general, but as I've mentioned, wearing yellow is hard for me. Maybe the key is bright pink lipstick. Maybe the key to everything is bright pink lipstick!

I only took one picture because I think my outfit is kinda boring. So I'm also gonna link to someone else's excellent look, an introduction to Storenvy, and a very cute giveaway. Enjoy!
Bright pink lipstick is definitely the key. Susie the Bard is nodding her head vehemently next to me. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd she oughta know!
DeleteYour Aunt Nancy is the best. You look lovely!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? She's a gem. Thank you!
DeleteI often don't feel "completely dressed" until I put at least a lipstick on. And in an obnoxiously bright color;) love it!
ReplyDeleteI feel it! *high five*
DeleteI totally agree with you about this picture! It's pretty darn awesome! :D (the one of you, not the lipstick) :P
ReplyDeleteI also find yellow difficult to pair, which is why I guess I don't have any yellow in my wardrobe. I remember borrowing a yellow shirt from my friend when I was in the 9th grade, and I'm pretty sure that was the last time. ! ^o^ !
Thank you! Heh, I bet yellow would look great with your green or purple hair!
DeleteBright lipstick is definitely the answer to many fashion woes. Though I enjoy a good yellow cardigan even without bright lipstick! I used to wear my mustard one constantly until it got worn out!
ReplyDeleteI like how this picture turned out too. The background is really nice!
I always feel like yellow + blonde hair washes me out =/ I do love the color, though! & thank you!
