Doing nice things for other people is good for your own soul. (Oops, is that selfish?) At the same time, it makes them happy! Efforts to spread joy can produce many win-win situations. Karen of Unpack the Box wrote, "Blogging does not happen in an empty void. We are all connected. We share this common space as readers and writers, creating a community of shared interest and ideas." That's what I enjoy most about having an online journal: the exchange of mutually appreciative self-expression. Y'all are charming!
The point is, leave a comment and I'll get in touch to do something nice for you. (Karen's post explains it better, but that's the gist.) Feel free to "pay it forward" on your own blog! If you do, link back to Unpack the Box.
And before you go, check out this super blue door:

Oh my gracious, that door is inspirational. I want to what's behind it.
ReplyDeleteAnd you do know that you are a truly lovely person, don't you?
Back atcha! =D

DeleteI love this idea! I'm stoked to see what happens! ^w^
ReplyDelete(I was thinking about doing a blog post about random acts of kindness I've witnessed before.)
Hehe, I hope I think up something good! That would be an awesome blog post--I love happy stories :)

ReplyDeleteWell, if y'all want to know what's behind any door (especially a locked/trapped one), then you do remember you have a rogue in your party, right? ;-)
Ahahaha, oooh yes, I wanna watch you open it! Do you pick locks or obliterate them? I guess picking is more stealthy. . .
